Chicken with pineapple: november recipe

After last month’s success, in November we again shared an easy and very tasty recipe to prepare.

The main ingredients: chicken and pineapple. Curious?

Here are the necessary ingredients:

2.5 kg of chicken legs cleaned of fat and skin (it is important to take the skin off the chicken so they can enjoy the sauce, otherwise, even if they dispense with the skin when they are eating, the sauce is full of fat)

1 pineapple

2 tablespoons honey

1 orange juice or pineapple juice if they use a can

3 chopped garlic cloves or 2 teaspoons garlic pasta

1 tablespoon of soy sauce or English sauce or balsamic vinegar

2 tablespoons grated or dried ginger

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 pinch of salt

chopped parsley q.b.


Clean the legs of skin and fat and separates the thigh from the leg. (If you prefer, you can ask the butcher’s shop to do that for you).

Arrange the meat in a large baking dish so that it doesn’t overlap too much.

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl – except chicken and pineapple. 

Pour this mixture over your legs, but reserve a little for later.

Peel and slice the pineapple. Remove the center and distribute through the baking dish.

Irrigate with the sauce that you have left in reserve.

Let it marinate for about 2 hours.

Turn on the oven at 200ºC. When it is hot, place the baking dish in the lower part of the oven for about an hour and water it with the sauce formed.

When the pineapple is golden brown and cooked, remove it to a plate and place the legs in the middle of the oven until golden brown.

Put the pineapple again and finish with a little parsley.
